Information on cookies
The __utmz cookie is part of the Google Analytics analysis and monitoring service. It is a persistent cookie that, in general, expires 6 months after its creation or update (this value may vary depending on the configuration by the webmaster; please refer to the table for the actual expiry date). The __utmz cookie contains an alphanumeric value that identifies your Google account, a numeric value (timestamp) of its creation, certain parameters related to the number of visits to the site and a series of information on the source, the campaign and typed key words. It memorises the traffic source or the campaign that explains how the user reached the site. The cookie is created with the execution of the Java script library and is updated each time that the data are sent to Google Analytics. › cookie-usage
The __utmc cookie is part of the Google Analytics analysis and monitoring service. It is a session cookie that is deleted when the browser is shut down. This cookie operates synchronously with __utmb, with which it goes hand in hand but which expires 30 minutes after its creation. By using these two cookies, Analytics is able to calculate, for example, the average time users spend on the page. › cookie-usage
The __utmb cookie is part of the Google Analytics analysis and monitoring service. This is a session cookie that is erased 30 minutes after its creation and contains the numeric value (timestamp) of the moment you entered the site. This cookie operates synchronously with __utmc, with which it goes hand in hand but which expires when you physically shut down the browser. By using these two cookies, Analytics is able to calculate, for example, the average time users spend on the page. If you reopen the browser within 30 minutes – when utmc no longer exists but utmb exists, a new session also starts. › cookie-usage
The __utma cookie is part of the Google Analytics analysis and monitoring service. This is a persistent cookie that expires 2 years after its creation or update. The content is an alphanumeric value in the form of 6 groups of numbers separated by dots; the first 2 are of variable length, the other 3 usually contain 10 numbers, and the last one is variable. This information is sent to the Google servers every time you open a page with the monitoring code and serves to calculate, among other things, recent statistics on the visitor and the time that has elapsed since the last visit. › cookie-usage
The __utmt cookie is part of the Google Analytics analysis and monitoring service. It indicates the type of request that is made on the site (e.g. event, transaction, item or custom variable). Very often, this cookie has an added suffix that identifies its meaning; it is, therefore, possible to trace it in the form __utmtxxx, where xxx is a series of alphanumeric characters or words that identify specific actions. › cookie-usage
